WE WANTED BETTER DOG GEAR. SO WE MADE IT.
Crazy Puppy started with a simple idea: the stuff we use with our dogs every day could look better, work properly and be made with a lot more thought.
WHO WE ARE

Crazy Puppy is an independent California dog-gear company built around better materials, small-batch production and the belief that good design shouldn't come at the planet's expense.
We use materials including recycled ocean plastic and Piñatex pineapple leaf material, then turn them into gear made for actual everyday walks, beach days and everything in between.
FOUNDER STORY
STARTED BY A DOG PERSON. NOT A PET CONGLOMERATE.
I'm Donagh, founder of Crazy Puppy. I started the company because I wanted dog gear I actually liked using — simple, well made and built from materials I could feel better about buying.
What began as a small idea became a bigger question: if we were going to make another product, could we make it differently? That led us to recycled ocean plastic, pineapple leaf material, small-batch production in California and a business that gives something back as it grows.
We're still small enough to care about the details. I like that. Crazy Puppy was never meant to be another faceless pet brand.
WHY WE DO IT
SMALL CHOICES ADD UP.
We don't think buying a dog collar is going to save the world. We do think businesses can make better choices about materials, manufacturing and what they support.
So that's what we're trying to do — make really good dog gear, keep improving how it's made and use the company to support environmental work and dogs that need a second chance.

SMALL BATCHES.
Our finished gear is made by hand in California. It isn't the fastest way to make dog gear. That's kind of the point.

Shelter Doggy Day Outs, product support, events and community cleanups are part of the company — not a separate marketing campaign.

We're not interested in pretending any product is perfect. We care about knowing where our materials come from and making the next decision better than the last.
