Two very different waste streams. One simple idea: use what already exists to make really good dog gear.
RECYCLED OCEAN PLASTIC
Recovered plastic is cleaned, processed and turned into the recycled webbing and canvas used across our gear.
PIÑYA
Pineapple leaf waste is turned into a leather-like material, then backed with recycled ocean-plastic webbing for our Piñya Collection.

Plastic recovered before it can keep doing damage is cleaned, processed and turned into recycled material we use across our gear.
02 — PIÑYA
After pineapples are harvested, the leaves are usually left behind. Their fibers can be turned into a durable, leather-like material instead. We back it with recycled ocean-plastic webbing for everyday strength.
03 — MADE BY HAND IN CALIFORNIA
Our finished gear is made by hand in California, in small batches. Real people cut, sew, assemble and check each piece before it heads out the door.
04 — PACKAGING
We keep the little stuff simple too: compostable mailers, recycled FSC-certified paper, vegetable-based inks and paper tape wherever we can.

In 2025, Crazy Puppy Company received the Green Arrow Award for System and Design Innovations from the California Product Stewardship Council — recognizing our approach to recycled materials, product design and reducing waste.
